INZAGHI: 'A MEMORABLE 2003 BUT WE WANT TO WIN MORE'
MILAN – A super 2003, a memorable year to lay the basis on for a new
successful course. Pippo Inzaghi gave his report on the year which is coming
to an end at his press conference at Milanello.
度過了精彩的2003年，PIPPO在記者會中對於即將到來的2004有了以下的期許。
He said: 'It has undoubtedly been a fantastic year for Milan and also for me,
as I really wanted to do well with this colours. These last two seasons at
Milan have been the best of my career, from a physical and a mental point of
view, and for the victories. A team who plays five finals and is crowned
European champions must be proud of it. And we actually are. In May we'll see
if someone else deposes us. We will applaude him. In the meanwhile we enjoy
our successes with the desire to restart from this point. We know it won't be
easy. The successes have boosted our morale and given us more confidence in
our potential. We'll try to win again with the same grit and determination as
last year. We still have a lot to give it.'
PIPPO：「2003對於米蘭和我來說的確是美妙的一年，尤其是當我很想努力對米蘭有所貢獻
。在米蘭的這兩年是我職業生涯中最好的兩年，不管是在心理或是生理層面都是，當然還
有成就。一個打了5場總冠軍賽並且獲得歐洲冠軍的球隊本該值得自豪，而我們的確是如
此。在5月我們會拭目以待看看有沒有人會從我們手上奪走歐冠獎盃，如果有，我們會給
予掌聲。在同時，我們將會再次為追求勝利而從頭開始。（PIPPO有點怪.....）
對於勝利的渴求永遠都會鼓舞我們的士氣並帶給我們自信。我們將會帶著和去年同樣的決
心與毅力去爭取最後的勝利。我們還有很多潛力沒有發揮。」
Pippo was his usual honest and serene being, as he talked about his form after
recovering from the injury.
PIPPO在談論他的傷勢時，仍像以往一般的誠實與認真。
He explained: 'I've returned to competitive action against Sampdoria, I've
tried to work hard. You need time to recover your best form, the main worry
for me was not to feel any pain more and I don't. Now I'm just thinking of
training and playing to reach my top condition.'
PIPPO：「我再對Sampdoria時已經回到我的比賽狀態，在比賽中我也盡力去奔跑。但是我
總需要時間來回到我的最佳狀態，我最大的憂慮並不是我會不會感到疼痛，因為我並不會

The prolific striker will immediately find on his way a crucial game, as
Milan travel to the Olimpico stadium to face Serie A leaders Roma.

He commented: 'The most important thing is to be at our top when approching
this game, having recovered those players who have got injured in the last
period. It will be a fantastic game at the Olimpico, everyone would like to
feature in it. We will have to face Roma showing the best Milan, we can't wait
to play that game. They are ahead of us in the standings, we can't lose.
We are serene, we need three points but it is just January and we still have
time to close the gap. Roma have impressed me for their continuity. They have
a stunning pace, a great group and a great coach. They are a strong team but
Juventus, Inter and Lazio are still competing for the title.'
PIPPO:「在比賽一天天迫近時，最重要的是就是我們必須盡快回到我們的最佳狀態，在去
年受傷的球員也都已將傷癒歸隊。在奧林匹亞的比賽絕對會是場精彩的比賽，請大家拭目
以待。在面對羅馬時，我們會展現出最好的米蘭，我們已經等不即要上場比賽了。他們現
在領先我們，我們絕不可以輸掉這場比賽。我們全心準備，我們需要這三分。現在只是1
月，我們仍有時間來超越他們。羅馬最讓我印象深刻的就是他們的穩定性。他們有平穩的
腳步、好的球員和一位好教練。他們是隻強大的球隊但是JUVE、INTER、LAZIO同樣也是不
容小覷。」
An inevitable remark about the Golden Ball: Inzaghi looked diplomatic, as he
said:
談到關於金球獎，PIPPO看的很開。
'I've always repeated and I'm still convinced that a Milan player must have
won it, as the Rossoneri faced five finals and are European champions. Paolo
Maldini deserved it most. However, [Pavel] Nedved was the winner and deserved
it too, I congratulate him.'
PIPPO：「我總是說我認為米蘭球員一定有資格獲得金球獎，因為我們歷經5場冠軍賽，
並且獲得歐冠冠軍。馬爾蒂尼絕對有資格拿這個獎。但是，內得為德是最後的得獎者，
他的表現也的確值得，我為他祝賀。」
Last but not least, the National team. Pippo didn't forget the good
performances he had with Italy in 2003.
最後但是也是最重要的，有關於義大利國家隊。PIPPO並沒有忘記他在2003國家隊中優異
的表現。
He said: 'September was a special month for me, I scored an hat-trick against
Wales and not only. Another memorable personal achievement. The Azzurri
jersey gives me satisfaction but first of all I have to concentrate on Milan. '
PIPPO：「9月對我而言是最特別的一個月，我在對威爾斯的比賽中演出了帽子戲法，這對
我而言是另一項成就。在國家隊的成功讓我滿足但是現在對我最重要的還是米蘭。」
