MILAN - Kakhaber Kaladze expresses his enthusiasm, speaking with the Milan Chann
el: 'We are ready and can't waiit to start after a month of rest. To win the Cha
mpions League was the best, but now we have new objectives to achieve. Six compe
titions, six possible successes. We want to win a lot again. Starting from the S
erie A, the Scudetto is very important. We really want to do better than last se
ason.'
About Sandro Nesta's look he adds: 'He has had his hair cut. He looked in perfec
t form. Like all the others: during our holidays we have continued with personal

KALADZE READY TO RESUME TRAINING

MILAN - Kahka Kaladze is already at the starting post. With him all the
Rossonero team. In the past season the Georgian left-winger has become
mature. After trying many positions, Carlo Ancelotti played him in a four-man
defence last season and Kala repaid him with good performances and superb
crosses both in the Serie A and in the Champions League. He was one of the
Rossoneri who played most: 2031 minutes in the league, 1300 in the European
campaign.
'I am happy to meet again my team-mates who played, suffered and rejoiced
with me last season,'
Kaladze tells ACMilan.com.
'It is just that the club have confirmed the whole team because we clinched
the European Champion Clubs' Cup and the Coppa Italia. Now we want to
resume training in order to win everything. We really want to do well in
the competition in which we did not shine, the Serie A. We want the
Scudetto. Now we know the joy of victory, that's why we want to experience
again that emotion.'

MILAN - Milan will have to work hard from the very beginning this season. Few
days after the gathering at Milanello, Carlo Ancelotti's team will leave for
the United States where they will face Barcelona in a friendly and Juventus in
the Italian SuperCup final. Kahka Kaladze is not worried though:
'It won't be a problem for us to play these matches early during the
preparation. And also the following games won't be a matter. I know
that all my team-mates have already started training while on holiday,
as I have done myself. Not on running, but on fitness and muscles. It won't
be a problem to face those games because they are important both for the
club and the players, so we will face them with the right attitude.'

MILAN - According to the Milan fans who joined in ACMilan.com poll, the teams
the Rossoneri are to face in their three finals can be listed as follows for
their difficulty: Juventus are considered the most dangerous team, followed
by Boca Juniors and then Porto. Here is Kaladze's opinion:
'I think Juventus and Porto are at the same level. They are both great teams
who have won in Europe where it is particularly hard. The first clinched the
Scudetto and was Champions League finalist, the second won the Uefa Cup. To
be honest, I don't know much about Boca Juniors. They play another football.
We will discover them step by step.'

MILAN - As it often happens, the Milan players address directly to their fans.
Kakhaber Kaladze did it as well, considering the 32,000 season tickets the
club have sold so far.
'It is good for us to know that the supporters are close to us, with the
season not off yet. It is normal that they are happy and I want to thank
them from now because last season they supported us also in the hardest
periods. Thanks to them we were able to go through to the Champions League
and the Coppa Italia final.'
