Interviewed by Sky Italy after tonight's win against Manchester United in
Rome, Barcelona coach Josef Guardiola said:
"I am very happy, we had a wonderful season.
In 1992 I won the Europan Champions Cup in London and it was beautiful too,
Barcelona has won three of them now and we are getting closer to the greatest
clubs who made history before.
Someone who has made football history is Paolo Maldini.
He is the greatest, he has done a lot in his career and, if he changes his
mind about retiring at the end of the season, I will wait for him to join
Barcelona.
I wish him all the best.
I dedicate tonight's win to Italian football and to Maldini".
