MALDINI DONATION TO UNICEF ITALIA

MILAN - Paolo Maldini has donated the ?6,400 he received for being man of the
match in the UEFA Champions League final to UNICEF Italia.
Each year, UEFA offers a prize to the man of the match in the Champions League
final to give to a charity of their choice.
Explaining the reasons behind his donation, Maldini told uefa.com: 'I would
like to donate the money to UNICEF Italia because I am very proud of my role
as a UNICEF ambassador. It is an important organisation.'
隊長捐出UEFA頒給他的歐冠決賽最佳球員的獎金6400元(這裡顯示出亂碼,應該是指歐元吧?
可我印象中我電腦應該顯示得出歐元符號啊? >__<~~ )給聯合國兒童基金會的義大利分會
同時他也以擔任UNICEF親善大使為傲喔... ^^

UNICEF原全名是United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund.,後來縮短
名稱改為United Nations Children's Fund,但縮寫維持UNICEF不變... ^^
