Kalac - 7.5: Two brilliant saves at the beginning of the second half, one
from Rocchi, the other from Pandev.
Oddo - 6.5: A good display by the wing back who never stopped running for his
side. Put away his penalty with aplomb.
Bonera -6.0: Read the game well, making a number of good interceptions.
Kaladze – 7.0: The Georgian has been one of Milan’s most impressive players
just recently and this was again the case tonight. Won his side the penalty.
Jankulovski - 5.5: Looked a little rusty and was caught out of position on
occasions. His crossing was poor also, which may have contributed to his
half-time substitution.
Gattuso - 6: Did what he could when he was on the pitch but he failed to
stamp his authority on the midfield.
Emerson - 6.0: Kept the team ticking over until he was substituted at
half-time for Ambrosini.
Gourcuff – 5.5: Failed to make much of an impact in a creative sense, giving
the ball away far too often.
Seedorf -6: Started the game brightly before he was forced off on 36 minutes
through injury.
Pato – 7.0: The teenager showed real heart, and had some explosive flashes
of brilliance.
Gilardino - 5.0: I don’t enjoy giving Gilardino poor ratings - believe me, I
don’t. But once again the striker was completely anonymous.
Subs: Paloschi 6.0, Ambrosini 6.0, Digao 5.0
