Memories of the past have already affected this match, and tempers may run
hot, despite this being the first matchday of the season.

Past Encounters

Milan make a short trip south to begin their season in strange circumstances.
However, no tickets have been released for sale to the Rossoneri supporters.
Undoubtedly, this decision has been affected by the awful day in 1995, when
a Genoa supporter was stabbed prior to the match.  The victim of this crime
died, and the horrific event was more than enough to cancel the match.

The opinion on Milan’s supporters throughout Europe is one of respect, due
to their usually calm demeanor when in close quarters with opposing fans.
 The fateful occurrence in 1995 not withstanding, the Milan tifosi are not a
group to be feared, and their singing and support would add an extra element
to the atmosphere of the stadium.

米蘭的開季將向南做一個短程旅行，氣氛是有些異於尋常情況的，因為米蘭球迷買不
到任何的票。1995 年的悲劇仍然延伸到了這場比賽，那是很難磨滅的謀殺事件，當時
的情況也造成了義甲的停賽，但那已經於事無補了。

歐洲賽場上對於米蘭球迷的評價是充滿著敬意的，因為米蘭球迷在球場上總是有著很
平靜的風度，尤其在一些激烈的團體競賽時面對敵對方的球迷仍然能夠保持冷靜。儘

As Time Goes By

Things have certainly changed since that day in 1995.  Genoa were relegated
after that season, and have spent the last twelve years playing outside of
the Italian top flight.  Finally making it back into the Serie A must be a
huge point of pride for the oldest club in Italy (formed in 1893).  They will
be determined to regain their place as a Serie A regular, something they were
able to stake claim to in the late 1980’s through the mid-1990’s.

Milan, on the other hand, have been through several different spells of
success (or the lack thereof) since 1995.  Following the great teams manager
Fabio Capello put out on the field, Alberto Zaccheroni took over and won the
Scudetto in his first season in charge in 1999.  A period of three seasons
then passed in which no major trophies were won, and the side needed a
makeover.

1995 至今已經是很長的一段時間了，世事變換。可憐陰陽紛亂情，牽動人間多少事
。法網恢恢，卡卡不漏，這樣的結果，令人～不勝唏噓～  咦，我翻到哪去了  XDD
Genoa 在 1995 賽季隨即被降級，之後的十二年都沒有恢復元氣，回到義甲賽場。
十二年後，王組長頓時心裡想起一個熟悉的人影！經過了DNA檢驗，秀蘭終於承認，
Genoa ～還～是～義～甲～的～隊～伍。咦，我又翻到這裡來了 XD  Genoa 這隻球會
是義大利最老的俱樂部，而這賽季回歸義甲的懷抱將會重燃這隻老球會的驕傲。他們
將會試著回復他們原本的樣子，成為義甲的常駐球會之一，就像是 80 年代末期到
1995 年慘案發生前一樣。

米蘭呢，在 95 年後則是另一個故事了，雖然經歷了一些波折，但很快的重建了紅黑
王朝。卡佩羅領軍，札切洛尼接手，在 99 年的時候這隻球會拿下了義甲冠軍。在 95
年之後的三年一無所獲，但僅僅花了三年就改頭換面。

In came Carlo Ancelotti in 2001, a former Milan player who had already done
well as a manager with Parma and Juventus, after the dismissal of Fatih
Terim.  ‘Carletto’ showed his ability to spot talent, and molded the side
around a new group of midfielders, which ultimately paid off in winning the
Champions League in the 2002/03 season.

Since then, Milan have added a Serie A title to their trophy cabinet, as well
as another European crown.

安切洛蒂 2001 年執教米蘭之前，在帕爾瑪以及尤文圖斯都有著不俗的表現，而且他
也是米蘭球員出身，有著純正的紅黑血統。在特里之後接手的安切洛蒂展現了他一些

CURRENT FORM

Genoa have had a lively attack in the preseason run-up to the beginning of
Serie A play, and having the two Copa Italia ties provided good competition
ahead of the first official match against Milan.  The additions of Marco Di
Vaio, Marco Borriello and N’Diaye Papa Waigo will give them an edge over
some opposing defenses.

在義甲開賽前的幾場賽事當中，Genoa 的攻擊線相當活躍。相較於米蘭來說，Genoa

Milan have looked very sluggish in the preseason, with goal-scoring being a
major problem.  They cannot afford to begin last season in a scoring drought
as they did last term, as the trio of Inter Milan, Roma and Juventus will all
have more than enough firepower to light up the scoreboard.

米蘭還是一樣慢熱，在季前熱身賽當中看起來很龜，問題還是一樣，得勢不進球。
不過義甲都要開賽了，米蘭將不能負擔像去年那種進球荒的代價了，另外義甲三強，
羅馬，國際，尤文圖斯都有足夠強大的鋒線陣容去取得進球。

TEAM NEWS 

Genoa will be able to give debuts to several new signings, among those Marco
Borriello, who was sent packing by Milan at the end of last season after
several seasons of lacking play and the doping ban he received last term.

Genoa 的幾個新引援都將獻上寶貴的第一次。最值得注意的是小博，前幾個賽季他沒
有穩定出賽的機會，上個賽季還因為禁藥問題禁賽。

Milan will be missing several first-choice stars due to injury.  Captain
Paolo Maldini is still recovering from off-season knee surgery, while Gennaro
Gattuso picked up a knock in training with the Italian national side this
week.  Striker Ronaldo also has a knee problem, and will miss out on the
first few matches.

Marco Di Vaio (Genoa) – Just a few seasons ago, he was well on the way
toward stardom, but a lack of first team play at Juventus and subsequent
moves to other clubs derailed him from that path.  While his youth is now
long gone (he turned 31 years of age in July), he still has plenty of time to
conjure up some magic to help Genoa stay in the top flight.

Genoa 方面盯緊 Di Vaio 的表現。幾個賽季之前他還是義甲叱吒風雲的球星之一，
隨後他在尤文圖斯失去了穩定的出賽機會。隨著他的轉會，似乎他就星途黯淡了。

成功。

Kakà (Milan) – He is the main cog in the Milan machine, and without him,
the Rossoneri are merely a shell of their glorious selves.  He will be the
main focus of Genoa’s defensive efforts, but did that stop him against the
likes of Manchester United and Liverpool last season?

PREDICTION 
賽況預測

Many people believe Milan will struggle in this match, mostly because they
will be without the backing of their supporters, due to the ban on ticket
sales to the Rossoneri.  Surely, the lack of red-and-black shirts in the
stands will have a bit of influence, but the quality of Milan will come
through, despite their struggles in the preseason.  Of course, the attacking
additions Genoa made will put a lot of pressure on the Milan rearguard, but
the lack of understanding among the new players will be their undoing.

很多人都認為米蘭這場會打得很辛苦，很大一部分的原因是支持他們的球迷不能入場
。而的確，這多多少少會有一些影響，不過米蘭的實力是能夠撐過這樣的難關的。雖
然米蘭的熱身賽表現並不出色，而 Genoa 的鋒線組合也會給米蘭的後衛造成很多麻煩
，但是 Genoa 的球員畢竟有很大一部分是新引援，還需要一些默契整合。

 ＊ 賽前記者會，詳細內容很長，不過沒什麼重點。Ronie 這場不能上，不過安切說
    他很樂觀，預計他應該能來得及打歐洲超級杯，也就是星期五之前歸隊。

 ＊ Rino 昨天參加了完整的球隊練習，安切說他沒問題，應該會先發。果然是打死
    不退的硬漢。至於 Emo，安切說他的狀況比想像中的好，不過才下飛機一天左右
    ，這場應該不會上。

 ＊ Emo 的背號 No. 5，這是在簽約的時候就確定的事情。前面的新聞應該也提過了
    。至於轉會市場關閉的事情已經說了很久，不過最後還是留了一個伏筆，就是
    米蘭頻道的記者問的問題--阿德。據說國際打算把阿德租借丟到 Parma 去，
    身為國際棄將回收再利用的米蘭一方，會考慮是很正常的情況。不過莫拉蒂應該
    是不敢再放給米蘭了。這樣無間道會拍不下去，臥底也沒這麼明顯的……
