Juliano Belletti is unlikely to join Milan after the defender signed a new
contract with European champions Barcelona.

The Argentine was being strongly linked with a move to Milan at the end of
the season, but he’s today committed his future to the Spanish giants.
Belletti secured himself a place in the Nou Camp history books last May when
he scored the winner in the Champions League Final against Arsenal.
The 30-year-old right-back came off the bench in Paris to net his first
Barcelona goal in their memorable 2-1 win.
"Everyone here has told me that what happened in Paris was the fruit of my
professionalism," the stopper said after putting pen to paper until 2009.
"I believe it is for this reason, and not just for scoring that goal, that
the club have extended my contract."
Barcelona netted Belletti from Spanish rivals Villarreal in 2004 when he
jumped at their offer of a four-year contract in Catalonia
