Ronaldinho has moved closer to a sensational Milan switch after his brother
and agent met Rossoneri officials on Tuesday.

Roberto Assis, who also represents Ricardo Oliveira, flew into the Italian
city to officially speak with Oliveira after his kidnapped sister was found
safe and well.

However, Assis also dined with Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani and
sporting director Ariedo Braida where they are understood to have discussed
his brother’s future.

The Corriere dello Sport reports that the two parties involved are close to
reaching an agreement over personal terms, even if convincing Barcelona –
who have ‘Dinho under contract until 2011 – to sell is a different matter.

Nevertheless, the newspaper suggested that Assis and Galliani have agreed on
a pact which would guarantee Ronaldinho’s move to Milan if he were to leave
the Blaugrana.

“Barcelona deserve all our respect, there are no problems and we have an
excellent relationship with them,” said Assis.

Galliani, though, is playing it cool and is keen to avoid the kind of
confrontations he had with Real Madrid in the summer after they openly
courted Kaka through the media.

“I don’t want to put pressure on anyone, Ronaldinho still has three years
on his contract and I don’t think there are any problems with the club,” he
stated.

but I do not want another Kaka situation.”

President Silvio Berlusconi, who has made no secret of his wish to see ‘
Dinho wear Milan’s jersey, also confirmed that his dream might be close to

underlined the former Italian Prime Minister.

Barcelona Vice-President Ferran Soriano has described the reports that
Ronaldinho could join Milan as ‘groundless’.
The Italian press claimed on Wednesday that the player’s brother and agent
Roberto Assis had met Milan representatives the day before, confirming them
as the double FIFA World Player of the Year’s preferred destination.
“All rumours about Ronaldinho’s transfer to Milan are a joke,” Soriano
told Radio Catalogna.
"Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani stated that the news was not true and
that they are not interested in buying Ronaldinho,” added the Nou Camp
official.
“In any case, we are not a club which is keen on selling and we believe that
none of our players want to leave,” concluded Soriano.
Galliani in fact preferred to play it cool, as he is eager to avoid the
confrontations he had with Real Madrid last summer when they courted Kaka
through the media.
“I don’t want to put pressure on anyone, Ronaldinho still has three years
on his contract and I don’t think there are any problems with the club,”
stated the Rossonero.
“If he decides to change he knows that Milan are here, ready to welcome him,
but I do not want another Kaka situation,” explained the former Lega Calcio
chief.

Milan chief Silvio Berlusconi insists that he is interested in signing both
Gianluigi Buffon and Ronaldinho in the summer.

The President had already previously stated that the club was in pole
position if Juventus and Barcelona were to let their stars leave and he
confirmed that he is ready to invest in both men.
貝總最近表示如果可以他想要買BUFFON或是小羅。
而今天他進一步表示，他兩個都想要！
The former Prime Minister noted: “Why would I have to choose between one of
the two? Buffon is a great champion and so is Ronaldinho.”
他說到：

Milan did struggle on the transfer market last summer, but Berlusconi seems
set to dig very deep at the end of the season even after their January
reinforcements.

thanks to the arrivals of [Massimo] Oddo and Ronaldo,” he continued.
