Ronaldinho is doing everything he can to facilitate a move to Milan, even if
it means a pay cut and shorter contract.
The Barcelona outcast has repeatedly stated he is desperate for a move to San
Siro, but this week Adriano Galliani claimed the real problem was not so much
the ￡20m asking price, more so his wages.
Dinho got the message and, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, is ready to
reduce his demands considerably.
The newspaper suggests he is ready to sign a two-year contract worth ‘just’
￡5m per season plus bonuses.
The decision comes just as Arsenal have begun negotiations with Milan for
Emmanuel Adebayor and reportedly reduced their price-tag to ￡20m from the
original ￡32m.
Considering the Togo international is much younger than Ronaldinho, the
Brazilian must try to make himself a more appetising prospect on the transfer
market.
The problem now is finding a deal with Barcelona, who have dropped their
demands to ￡20m from ￡28m, but the Rossoneri are still ready to part with
no more than ￡12m.
The rapport between Ronaldinho and his club is at an all-time low after new
boss Pep Guardiola announced he was no longer required and Barca vetoed his
call-up for the Brazilian Olympics squad.
