Milan President Silvio Berlusconi has urged his Coach to field David Beckham
from the start against Roma.
Carlo Ancelotti announced in yesterday's Press conference that it would be
"very difficult" to place the new arrival in the starting XI.
However, and certainly not for the first time, patron Berlusconi very
publicly disagrees with his tactician.
"If I were Ancelotti, I would make him debut in a stadium like the Olimpico
on such a wonderful occasion," he told Sky Italia.
"If Beckham is really not 100 per cent fit, then I would introduce him in
the second half, when the opponents are getting a little tired."
"I will sit impatiently in front of the television to see if he plays."
Beckham is on loan from LA Galaxy until March 9, when he must return for the
start of the MLS season, so there are few real opportunities for him to play
in Serie A.

簡單講就是貝總希望能在對羅馬一役時看到 Beckham 首發上陣,
不過教練安切洛蒂願不願意讓 Beckham 首發又是另外一回事了... XD
因為安切在昨天的記者會裡曾公開表示過,讓新援排進首發 11 人是"實屬難事",
所以貝總只好改口說：
"假如我是安切的話,我會讓 Beckham 在像奧林匹克體育場這般絕妙場合裡讓他首發亮相,"
"假如 Beckham 狀態真的沒有達到 100% 的話,
那麼我會選擇在下半場也就是等對手有些小疲憊時再派 Beckham 登場..."
貝總還說如果 Beckham 能上場踢的話,他老人家將會迫不及待的在電視前等著看他踢球...
