MILAN - A.C.Milan officially announce the signing of Giuseppe Favalli
on a contract until June 30, 2008.

Giuseppe Favalli has joined Milan. The left-back was born on January 8, 1972
in Orzinuovi, in the province of Brescia. He started his career at Cremonese
before joining Lazio at the start of the 1992-93 season where he remained for
12 years to establish a club record 298 league appearances. In his time in
Rome, he won the league title, three Italian Cups, League Super Cups, a
European Cup Winners' Cup and a European Super Cup. He then moved to Inter
in the summer of 2004, playing for two years and winning two Italian Cups
and an Italian Super Cup. Favalli made his Italy debut on October 8, 1994
in a 2-0 win at Estonia and then went on to gain 47caps, scoring three goals.
He has signed a contract with Milan until June 30, 2008. Always considered a
correct and sporting player, Favalli built up a good friendship with Sandro
Nesta when the pair played at Lazio.
