the opposition and finally allow the adrenalin to explode in his trademark
celebrations. Pippo has been primed all week, urged on by the words of encourag
-ement from Carlo Ancelotti and his sharp performances in training at Milanello. His hard work was rewarded with a starting place against Sampdoria. He was all
over the pitch from the first whistle, covering the ground in search of an open
-ing. He drew his markers Conte and Falcone all across the backline and as hard
as they tried they could not shackle the Italy international. Fortune may not
have favoured him recently but his determination has never waned and so in the
