Christian Abbiati 6.0
Cannot be faulted on any of the goals and made a
couple of smart saves to keep his side in with a fighting chance in the second
half.
Daniele Bonera 5.0
Pushed forward on a couple of different occasions but more often than not the
end product left a lot to be desired. Had no answer for Giaccherini tonight.
Sloppy backpass in 48th minute almost gifted Giaccherini a chance to put the
match to bed.
Sokratis Papastathopoulos 5.5
Some of his critics weren't sure if he would thrive at a top club and he gave
his detractors some extra ammunition with his poor performance tonight.
Thiago Silva 5.0
A disappointing display from the usually dynamic Brazilian centre-back. He
missed a free-header from close range in the early going and was run ragged
by Bogdani and Giaccherini. Hooked at half-time.
Luca Antonini 5.5
Not a vintage performance by any means as he was nutmegged by Schelotto and
given problems by Ceccarelli. He is not going to grab Cesare Prandelli's
attention with performances like these.
Massimo Ambrosini 6.0
Usually wears his heart on his sleeve for the Rossoneri and tonight was no
different. He picked up a yellow card for a tackle on Ceccarelli, which
limited his effectiveness. Spent too much time haranguing the referee in the
second half.
Andrea Pirlo 6.0
The deep lying playmaker pulled the strings for the Diavoli in the first 15
minutes and it looked as if he was going to play an important role in the
match. However his influenced waned as the game wore on.
Gennaro Ivan Gattuso 5.5
The Calabrese pitbull doesn't have the legs to thwart lightning quick
counterattacks like the ones Cesena launched tonight. Was replaced by Inzaghi
in the 64th minute as Milan needed some goals in a hurry.
Ronaldinho 6.0
Looked lively in the early going as his curling effort almost opened the
scoring in the seventh minute. Faded away after that and showed his frustration
by uncharacteristically lashing out on a Cesena player after Pato’s goal in
the second half was ruled out and was hooked by Allegri moments later.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic 6.0
It’s never good when a player misses a penalty on their debut, it’s even
worse when the player in question’s team is down 2-0 on the road to a small
club they were heavily favoured to beat. Not an ideal debut by any means. A
lot of tricks and flicks but no end product.
Alexandre Pato 6.5
The youngster was one of the few Milan players who looked up for the match
tonight. Had the ball in the back of the net on two occasions but had them
ruled out both times.
Ignazio Abate 5.5
Replaced Thaigo Silva and didn't leak a goal.
Robinho 5.5
An anonymous debut for Robinho. The two high profile summer signings will
have to turn it up a gear if Milan are to give Inter a run for their money.
Filippo Inzaghi1 6.5
Did well to win the penalty for his side and gave the Cesena defence some
tense moments.

下半場罰失點球抹殺了其在比賽中為數不多的幾次出彩表現，首秀表現平庸。

帕托在比賽中表現的十分努力，也是鋒線上最為活躍的一位，可惜的是運氣不濟。
