Gooday Anca, Angela and Rita,
First, I am terribly sorry about the check. I still have my bank in the US,
would you like me to mail you a check, or does AIESEC Michigan have a bank
acct. number that I could wire the money to. It seems that when I was
calculating my finances, that in writing the check so long ago and thinking
it was cashed, I overlooked it.
Secondly, I sincerely appreciate all of Rita’s and the AIESECers here
assistance. Their enthusiasm and diligence have made this an outstanding
experience
I truly enjoy being here, the quality of the internship and the cultural
experience far surpass my expectations. Angela is correct in her
correspondence; I have been busy every moment since stepping off the plane.
Every activity is so interesting that I am literally exhausted at the end
of the day from taking it all in, but I love it. I have met two other US
trainees, one of whom which I have Mandarin class with, but I rarely see
him outside of AIESEC functions. The other lives in a different city,
and is returning to the US this week. Otherwise, I have enjoyed meeting
trainees and co-workers from different countries such as Poland, Brazil,
Malaysia, Indonesia and The Netherlands.
I believe the welcome party will be a great time, it seems as though many
of the LC are abroad on holiday or traineeships. Not withstanding that,
the AIESECers that are here are great, they are all very welcoming and
accommodating.
I will look for my visa receipt; I think I still have it.
