The security in East Asia
The forth discussion is case study, which is generally called `the crisis
of Taiwan Straits'.In 1996, Chinese government began military operations
around the Taiwan Straits. In response to that, the United States of America
dispatched task forces to the Taiwan Straits in order to defend Taiwan.
In fact, warfare didn't take place. But, if warfare had occurred, what would
have happened in East Asia.
As for Japan, we think that Japanese government will send the Self-Defense
Forces in order to support American forces according to the U.S-Japan Security
Treaty and relative domestic law in Japan.
Please consider what you should do from a position of Taiwan and demonstrate
your opinion by means of international law and domestic law in Taiwan.
