Udinese Beat Roma In Blind Auction For Marco Motta
Roma lose Motta to Udinese...
Roma have lost their blind auction with Udinese over Marco Motta who heads
back north.
A €200,000 difference settled the issues at question over his co-ownership
deal after neither club reached an agreement before Friday night's deadline.
The deal went into a blind auction with both clubs putting their offers in an
envelope.
And Udinese won it after bidding €1.5 million to Roma's €1.3m to bag the
other half of Motta's rights.
The Lega Calcio confirmed the deal on their official website before both
clubs made an announcement.
However, reports in Italy claim Juventus could make an offer to Udinese for
the stopper.
