Further honours for Stosur

World No.6 Samantha Stosur will gain further honours for her best-ever year
on the international tennis circuit by having a court named after her on the
Gold Coast.
目前世界排名第六的Samantha Stosur除了在今年取得了她生涯最佳成績外 現在又多了一
項榮耀 黃金海岸的一處球場將以她的名字命名
Stosur this week returned to her home town following her semi-final finish at
the WTA championships in Doha and will be officially welcomed on Saturday
with a court dedication at Queens Park Tennis Centre.
Stosur在Doha打完WTA年終賽的四強賽後 已於本週回到她的家鄉 她在本週六將受到官方的
接待 在皇后公園網球中心舉行命名儀式
The 26-year-old will resume training in December with her coach David Taylor
in Sydney ahead of the Australian summer.
26歲的她將於澳洲夏天開始前 在12月與她的教練David Taylor在雪梨展開練習
Stosur will ramp up her preparations for the Australian Open by contesting
the year-opening Brisbane International instead of the Hopman Cup.
在澳洲網球公開賽前 Stosur選擇參加Brisbane International作為熱身賽 她將不會參加

But she issued a veiled warning for anyone intending to take to her court at
Southport’s Queens Park Tennis Centre. “Next time I come home to practise,
watch out - I'll be kicking you off so I can play on my own court,” Stosur
said.
“I'm more nervous about this than I am playing,” she told the crowd of
about 100 today. “It's really an honour to have a court named after you,
where you grew up. It doesn't happen to everyone.”
她給所有想去那個球場打球的人發出警告....
"下次我回家練習時，我會把你們都趕跑，好讓我可以在我自己的球場上打球。"
她今天對著約100名的群眾說，
"命名這件事，比起上場打球還讓人覺得更緊張。"
"在從小長大的家鄉，有個球場能以自己的名字稱呼，是非常榮耀的，
這機會可不是每個人都有的喔～。"
