i always tell my parents...
learn phonics hard before u learn K.K
because every book ,newspaper,article or magazine u open...
u see letters ...not K.K symbols la

However, I think if you want to teach Phonics in Taiwan, you'd better give
them more comprehensive input instead of drill only. Many students do well
in drills, but they still cannot or hesitate when prouncing words in the
context. So I think you have to give them some phonics readers. Most of the
phonics readers are simple storybooks with target sound in each book, I
believe that will help your kids a lot.
