去google是最快的方法，不用在這邊討論便知母語人士怎麼用，
當然我們還是可以就每句話的語氣是推敲文法：
首先我們要有的共識是：would在此的用法絕對是「委婉」說法，
因為此刻addressee是「you」，面對面對話不會有過去式的情形，
一定是正在進行的情景。
接著我們來討論每一句話的背景。
1. Would you tell me when the train will arrive?
討論間接問句，最容易的方式便是把問句還原，
所以我們把問句還原後：When will the train arrive?
應該能夠瞭解the speaker可能在火車站，想知道的是
「現在在等的這班火車什麼時候會到」。
2. Would you tell me when the train arrives?
還原問句：When does the train arrive?
此刻我們使用「現在簡單式」，其一是文法中所說，
「用現在是表未來」的用法，其二也可以解釋成，
the speaker想知道的是「一般情況下」，
這班火車會是什麼時候抵達。
這句話一樣可以是用上一句的設定，那麼就跟上句差別不大。
但在context不同的情形下，可以有不同的解讀。
若是上句的情景，用「will arrive」或許只是語氣比較強烈而已；
若是表示「一般情形下」某時刻火車抵達的時刻，
和1.句的意思就不一樣了。
3. Would you tell me when the train arrived?
還原問句：When did the train arrive?
用「過去式」，只是純粹想問「火車之前什麼時候到的」。
我不同意上篇原po的說法，因為原po把「tell」理解成告知，
卻忘了「tell」也可以有純粹的「告訴」的意思。
A: Would you tell me when the train arrived?
B: Yes. It arrived fifteen minutes ago.
如果有人趕不上火車，當然比較有可能問的是
「When did the train leave?」
但並不表示詢問「When did the train arrive?」的問句不成立。
我現在想到的是偵探小說中，偵探可能會這麼問啦XD"
4. Would you tell me when the train had arrived?
原po以為詢問「火車過去抵達的時間」該改為「過去完成式」，
竊以為這是錯誤的。一樣將問句還原：
When had the train arrived?
我們應該知道，過去完成式不會單獨出現，
一定會附加在「過去式」的背景下才可成立。
此外，回到我們的前提，這句話的「would you tell me」，
絕對不會是過去式，而是現在的你我對話，
由此看來，用過去完成式沒有道理可言。
