[國中] 文法--being和so的用法

國三複習考卷上看到幾題:

1. _____ very late for work, I took a taxi.

   (A)It is   (B) Be   (C) Being   (D)It was

   答案是C，麻煩熱心的老師幫我解釋這一題~

2. ______ a fine day, we went on a picnic.

   (A)Being   (B)It being   (C)Be    (D)Been

   答案是B，D我知道不用考慮一定刪掉~請問為什麼是B~要怎麼跟孩子解釋?

3. Lisa: Ben is ____ popular a person that he is chosen to be the class leader.

   Mary: No wonder he can do a good job.

   (A)so    (B)such    (C)very    (D)too

   答案是A，請問一下~為什麼後面還要加a person，放在這的用意是什麼?

4. 我知道so...that...可以替換成such...that...

   但有沒有very...that...的用法呢?

   比如: Mary is so pretty that everyone likes her.

       = Mary is such a pretty girl that everyone likes her.

   (?) = Mary is very pretty that everyone likes her. ←有這種用法嗎??

推 noobie:1.選D會沒有連接詞，所以以D為基礎改成分詞構句
→ noobie:2.跟第一題不同的地方在這裡主副句中主詞不同，當主詞不同
→ noobie:  要改成分詞構句時，副句中的主詞須保留，是謂「獨立分詞
→ noobie:  構句」
→ noobie:3.這算是滿常見的用法哦，so+adj+a/an+N，只不過後面的
→ noobie:  a/an+N.常會被省略..
