door 當然 可以用at/ in front of
只是兩者定義不同:
at 地點
in front of 位置

we'll meet at the door.我們在(地點)見.
如果說we'll meet in front of the door 不但失去了要表達(地點)的語意,也會讓人混淆到底in front of the door是哪裡.
The pig is walking in front of the door.這句話表達了豬在走,並且位置是在門前的範圍.
如果說the pig is walking at the door.還是豬在走沒錯,可是at有地點局限的的範圍,讓人懷疑door有大到可以讓它自由活動的範圍嗎?
