這句話原本應該是 There ___ a clock and a picture on the wall.
這問10個美國人, 10個都會跟你說是is.
已經是月經文了....
There 後面如果接的項目中有單數的話, 單數要先放, 而如果第一個項目是單數
後面不管有幾個項目都是用is.
例： There is a chicken, a cat and a dog in the yard.
還有項目要依照數量, 有少到多放...
例： There is a chicken, two dogs and three cats in the yard.
而如果沒有單數項目的話, 就是用are.
例： There are two chickens, two dogs and three cats in the yard.
sounds weird... 但美國人就是這麼講話
