這次要請教各位先進「第一名」的用法：

題目出自南一題庫
Didn't they tell you their performance won _____ first place that year?
(A)a    (B)the   (C)X   (D)an

標準答案為C

但是我在google搜尋時，加the或不加the用法皆有，
所以想請教各位何者為宜？
又或者兩者的意義不同呢？
