通常會混淆的選項有
(A) the one
the 表示限定，one 在此解釋另一個人(a person)的意思
(B) another
another 不含限定之意，代替單數，指三者之中的另一個，但在此句前面卻沒有可指
稱的名詞所以不能用
(C) the other
the other 有限定之意(在範圍內)，可代替單數或複數，通常指二者之一的另一個

妳把這個概念用 集合 來想
現在有兩群人 一群是我的朋友 另一群則不是
Eva 和 Kevin 是在 "朋友" 這個集合(範圍)內
而站在窗戶邊的人 不屬於這個集合 因此不能用 the other
因此最佳答案應該為 the person
但也可以把他想成是另一個集合(範圍)的人
所以可以用 the one 來代替
