[國中] 翰林B1-U4習作 It's in school.

各位大大好～

在翰林版第一冊第四課習作p.22 G-Choose中對話最後兩句

Cindy: Comic books? Where is your homework?
Sara:It's in school!

4.(A) Where is Sara's homework?
      (A)It is in her school.
      (B)It is in her bedroom.
      (C)It is in the living room.

我的問題在於 in school 不是用在說明『學生去學校求學﹑學習」的意思嗎？
焦點放在學校的「功能」上，所以沒加冠詞the/a

但對話裡的It's in school！中的it指的是homework，所以是不是整句話要加個the/my
比較好呢？更何況答案裡也有用所有格her限定哪一所學校。

個人小小疑惑，請各位幫忙一下！謝謝～～～～～～
