[國中] 關於對等連接詞的幾個觀念

最近在教學上
碰到幾個觀念覺得有點模糊...
希望版上的大大們幫忙一下...

        1.Not only A but also B的動詞判斷
        2.either A or B 的否定句
想法：
        1.我記得not only A but also B 的動詞判斷..
          應該是看最接近的主詞來決定...
          翰林版備課用書也是這樣寫..

          可是學生在"X師"講義上看到說...
          因為not only A but also B 強調的是B..
          所以動詞應由B決定..

          本來如果都是直述句 這兩種說法沒有互相抵觸..
          但如果...
          Not only you but also John likes music.要改疑問句..
          那該用Does開頭 還是Do才對呢?...

        2.我記得either or跟neither nor好像都沒有否定用法才對..
          但看過一個句子...
          I didn't go to either America or Japan.
          意思是說...我沒去過美國 也沒去過日本..(應該沒錯吧? >"< )

          那麼..
          Neither you nor John likes music.可不可以等於..
          Either you or John doesn't like music.呢..

          如果不行 是因為Either you or John doesn't like music.意思是..
          你或John其中一個不喜歡音樂所以意思不對..
          還是Either or當主詞的連接詞時 根本不能用否定呢?..

以上兩個觀念..
