這是在一篇cloze test 裡面的句子
學生問我為什麼是用 could have 和 would have的型態, 但我無法回答出來= ="
是因為這是推測過去使用習慣 所以用could, would嗎? 和假設語氣有關嗎?
再請大家幫幫忙了, 希望能和我說明一下 該怎麼解釋
(這篇主要是討論左撇子和右撇子)
The old theory of handedness suggests that humans are largely righties

into the habit of holding babies on their left sides in order to soothe them
