主要想請問一下大家關於that可省或不可省的問題

上次教到這句時，學生問要怎麼判斷that在此是當同位語呢？

就是該如何解釋比較好呢？或如何認定這個that不可以省略呢？


原句如下：

In addition, critics say that too little testing has been done to

learn about the long-lasting effects that GM foods may have on our

bodies. The fact that people grow bigger and taller today may be

partly due to the presence of GM foods in their diet.


又that在其他何種情況下不可以省略呢？謝謝大家。
