  【疑問】hoopla(n)投環遊戲；投到就是你的；= ballyhoo(v)(n)喧嘩；宣揚

  不知道高手們會怎麼解釋這一題？如果是用hoopla解釋好像不通，但如果用其同義字

  ballyhoo，我私下解讀成“世紀末的喧嘩”？？(就是世紀末的恐慌之類的...)


2.Before the 1920s, a bride wore a new evening gown in _____ color suited

  her.

  (A)all (B)such (C)various (D)whatever

  Ans: (D)


 【疑問】 這裡的whatever是否該解釋成anything that ...，但如果是的話套回原句

  將變成..in anything (that color suited her) ，印象中that子句是形容詞子句，

 故句子該少主詞、受格或補語，但此句好像不合。 不知道大家會怎麼解釋？@@
