[高中] 雙重否定

請問大家都是怎麼教雙重否定呢??

之前我都是說 without 後面接「條件」

ex. Fish cannot live without water.  (水是生存的條件)

ex. Iris never goes out without taking her dog with her.

    (把狗帶在身邊是出門的條件)

可是今天學生問我一題：

Lenny always gets excited when he watches a football game.

雙重否定的答案是 Lenny never watches a football game without getting excited.

這種題目我就不太會解釋....

可以請教大家都是如何教的嗎??
