: 故答案只能選C，不能選D
: 這樣對嗎？如果有錯請幫忙解釋一下

原始的句子是對的。
但後面的步驟其實沒那麼複雜，
一樣找出兩句相同之處(Taipei)，而第二個Taipei被which取代。
接著合併兩個句子==> Taipei, which I was born in, is my favorite city.
但若關係子句尾若有與先行詞有關的介係詞則習慣往前移
===> Taipei, in which I was born, is my favorite city.
最後in which 可以合併成 where (此點請自查文法書)
===> Taipei, where I was born, is my favorite city.
由此可知 D選項多出了介係詞in。
p.s 如有疏漏，麻煩其他老師補齊。
