Nowadays, the automobile is ubiquitous especially if you're living
in the cities. The annoying horn noise and many tragic accidents cause by
heavy traffic have bring people a negative impression with automobile.
While many still claim that the convenience and mobility of automobile
have brought them a better life. In my eyes, these two ideas are
both correct but not conflict, the reasons are below:
Every inventions have it's defects. For example, although the
scissors are easy to use. Clumsy accidents still happen sometimes,
causing small wounds or serious injuries. And these acidents could be reduced
if people follow the using rules and be more careful. It tells us that how
a tool would do you harm or good depends on how you handle it. It is also
true to automobile. Having control of the exhaust pollution, educating and
enforcing the traffic laws, building efficient highways and other facilities
for safety, these are strategies to ensure the safety and quality of
automobile system. With these ideas put to use, the convenient and mobile
characteristic of automobile will be more conspicuous.
In my opinion, I consider that automobile contributes to the modern
life. However, the problems come with it are complicated and hard to solve.
In this case, we should not escape from these problems and refuse the use
of automobile. But make use the stategies mentioned above, and educate our
kids to follow the traffic rules.
