因為本身有看球，所以也會注意一下樂團和足球的關聯 :P
基本上英國球迷都馬支持自己家鄉在地的球隊，
（例：在曼徹斯特長大的 Oasis 的 Gallagher 兄弟倆，就是支持當地的
曼城 Manchester City FC ）
所以了，出身於 Sheffield 的小猴子們當然是支持當地的 Sheffield
Wednesday FC （暱稱 The Owls）─ 至於為何不是另一支 Sheffield
United FC （暱稱 The Blades）呢？
個人推論應該還是地緣關係～

團員們都在 Sheffield 北部的 High Green 生活，而 Hillsborough 正
處於市中心北邊，High Green 南邊。

（我印象中在 amazon.co.uk 也看到過有網友提到過這點）
四位團員中 Cookie 應該是最狂熱的足球迷吧！
不但有參加過球隊踢球（＊），而且已經至少穿過兩次球衣亮相，
一次是去年的 NME 封面（8/26 發行那期），他穿英格蘭 06/08 客場紅色
球衣（＊＊）；最近則是意外在 youtube 上看到他參與電視節目彩排時竟
然穿巴薩球衣（＊＊＊）～
