Alex和Matt在接受澳洲電台ABC訪問時

談到了專輯的進度:

Alex: We’re gonna have a new album by the summer I think, that’s the plan.
      按照計畫的話 我們會在暑假發行新專輯

Matt: Which will be your winter.
      那是你們(澳洲)的冬天

Alex: Yeah, by (burps) by our summer.
      對 我們的(打嗝)的夏天

Host: By the middle of the year we’ll have new Arctic Monkeys album.
      年中的時候可以聽到新的北極猴專輯

Alex: I think so, yeah.
      應該是這樣 恩

Host: What percentage of it is done?
      目前大約完成的百分比是多少了?

Matt: I would say… 78.
      我想是..78

Alex: I’ve been working with fractions, I’m not really good at... I've been
      saying 2/3.
      我已經在處理一些小細節部份　我會說完成了三分之二

Host: Are you happy with it so far?
　　　目前還滿意嗎？

Matt: Thrilled. Thrilled with it.
　　　很驚豔


還談到一些他們到加州與Queens Of The Stone Age的Josh Homme 一起錄音

還到了 Eagles Of Death Metal的吉他手的錄音室

錄出了很有”沙塵味(element of dust )”的聲音
