Match Summary:
Hungary started off promisingly but Argentina were quick to stamp their
superiority on the match. Both in midfield and defense, the Argentinians
were definitely superior and enabled them to keep Hungary's attack to a
minimum. The stifling evening heat slowed down the pace of the game and
the crowd only witnessed flashes of the Argentinian brilliance.
Jose Nestor Pekerman (Argentina coach): The atmosphere was fantastic, the
pitch extraordinary. The result of the match was good. All our goals were
good goals.
Janos Zeigler (Hungary coach): We were forced to change tactics after their
early goal. The result of the match was realistic. However, there were only
a few good moments of football. We will make a few changes to the team for
the next match.
