Ortega Fined By Fenerbahce
12/09/2002. Ariel Ortega has been fined $20,000 by Fenerbahce
for leaving the camp just before the Istanbulspor match after
learning that he wasn't going to start.
He was also given a $5000 penalty for arguing with Ceyhun during
the weekend's defeat to Diyarbakirspor. Ceyhun and Fatih were also
fined $5000 each for arguing with team-mates during the game.
Meanwhile, Mustafa Dogan, who was red carded in the 35th minute of
last week's Turkish Cup loss to second division team Konyaspor, was
also fined $10,000 for his unprofessional behaviour in such an
important knockout game.
