LEVERKUSEN, August 17 (Bundesliga) - Bayer Leverkusen were denied a
smallmeasure of revenge for last season's disappointment as they were
held to a drawby Borussia Dortmund.
Leverkusen were pipped to the league title by Dortmund on the last day of
lastseason.
But they looked to be on their way to settling the score when Argentinian
wing-back Diego Placente put them ahead in the 23rd minute.
However, Dortmund were happy to disappoint their hosts a second time when
JanKoller levelled the scores just past the hour mark.
