Manchester City boss Kevin Keegan reckons he has found the next Gabriel
Batistuta in Argentinian striker Vicente Vuoso.
The young striker followed Nicolas Anelka to Maine Road in the summer of
2002, after agreeing personal terms to leave Independiente, where he formed
a formidable partnership with Manchester United's Diego Forlan.
Vuoso was keen to secure a move to City as it would mean he was close to
his friend Forlan.
Keegan believes Vuoso will give City a whole new dimension to their play,
and tipped him to emulate Argentina's record goalscorer by becoming an
international great.
Firstly, he will have to break into City's strikeforce, which was
free-scoring in the First Division, and has also been boosted by the arrival
of Anelka.
