Valladolid Get Cardetti On Loan
07/17/2003. PSG Argentine striker Martin Cardetti will be playing at
Valladolid next season. The Spanish side have confirmed that they have
agreed a one-year loan with both the player and the French capital club.
Cardetti had a rather disappointing season with PSG, as he couldn't find
the net in 2OO3. The player had started well, scoring 7 goals last Automn
but could never recover from a knee injury sustained in January.
Moreover, his chances of playing first-team football with PSG next year
were slim, given Pauleta's arrival. Cardetti will be trying to prove that
he has not lost the scoring abilities he displayed in his homeland two
years ago, when he was the Argentine Apertura's top scorer.
