Notes: Had an impressive tournament as Argentina hosted and won the World Youth
Cup in 2001. He scored four goals including one in the 3-0 victory over Ghana
in the final. He has become a regular in the first team for his club side as
well, being in good form in 2001, scoring four goals in the Clausura. There
have been rumours that Sunderland have been interested in adding him to their
young Argentine contingent. Has signed for Espanyol in Spain to join them in
the middle of 2002 from Newell's Old Boys.
