Gunners 'close to ￡8m Hleb deal'

Arsenal are in talks to buy Belarus winger Alexander Hleb from Bundesliga
side Stuttgart, according to reports.

The 24-year-old right-winger would cost the Gunners about ￡8m - ￡3m
below Stuttgart's original ￡11m asking price.

Hleb, who played in his country's 0-0 draw with Scotland on 8 June, joined
Stuttgart in 2000 and has three years left on his contract in Germany.
