Wenger - Real speculation had affected Reyes

The decision to omit Jose Antonio Reyes from the starting XI at Dinamo Zagreb
on Tuesday night will have sent conspiracy theorists into a frenzy.

The 22-year-old striker has been linked with a move to Real Madrid recently
and, if you believe the newspapers, a deal was more likely if the Spaniard
was not cup-tied in the Champions League. However Arse`ne Wenger denied that
was the reason behind his decision to play Tomas Rosicky on the left flank
after earlier saying the Czech midfielder would start the game on the bench.

"I felt Tomas was ready physically to play,” said the manager. “Reyes, with
all the noises made about his transfer with Real Madrid, had been unsettled.
I did not think he had the right concentration to play.

"I just considered tonight's game and the fact he will be cup-tied or not did
not come into my mind.

"I played the team tonight which I thought had a good chance to win the game."

"I did not send a message out,” the manager told journalists in his
post-match press conference. “You do that. I pick the team out with a good
chance to win and we won 3-0 tonight. You can take all the conclusions you
want. I consider the game and  the way we could win, selling Reyes or not
selling Reyes. I have not picked him before for games.

"You cannot see behind every decision I make [whether it is] to transfer
players. Remember, I extended the contract of Reyes last year. So yes I am
confident he will stay.”

對於雷耶斯能否留在槍手，我已經開始覺得不樂觀了。 /___\

今天又有AS報對雷爺訪問說
在昨天被留在板凳席之後,
雷爺已經覺得轉會皇馬似以箭在弦上,
對他及他家人來說都非常迫切希望能趕快決定,

我覺得溫格昨天說的那些什麼"傳聞讓雷爺不能專心"
明眼人一看就知道是藉口
如果要消散一個球員的分心,
最好的方法不是把他放在板凳上,
讓傳言越滾越大,
而是讓他上場,真的感覺比賽感覺隊友,感覺他在這個隊上的重要程度.

看雷耶斯跟前陣子的小法布的傳言,
暗自覺得還好我們買了兩個東歐系的HLEB跟ROSICKY,
又或者來自北歐的永伯,
南歐的聯賽對他們來說也許沒有同語系的吸引力以及那些所謂豪門歷史的媚惑,
他們應該是槍手未來七八年內不動如山的球隊支柱,
就像永伯這麼多年來一直沒跟其他大球會有什麼誹聞一樣忠心耿耿為球隊效力,

而對於西班牙系跟南美系球員的引進,
我想真的要好好考慮Settlement的問題了!
至於東歐,北歐,以及溫格自己可以綁樁的法語系人力
(包括法國本土及前殖民地的非洲國家),
有合適的就不要客氣,趕緊搶下吧!
