Sagna tells Arsenal fans: Trust in Arsene

The demand from the fans has been to rip up the team and splash the cash to
bridge the gap with Chelsea and Manchester United.
球迷的要求已經影響到球隊，同時也要求花大錢來填補與 Chelsea 和 Man Utd的差距。

But Bacary Sagna trusts Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger to finally add the missing
ingredient that will deliver the title.

The France right-back is part of the side continually inspired this season to
rescue victories when the club has looked dead and buried.
這位法國籍的右後衛，是陣容中持續地帶給這季激勵的成員之一，當俱樂部看來低迷時，
卻能挽救並奪取勝利。

And he now believes that next year Arsenal can sustain the title bid that
very nearly came off this season.
Sagna 相信，Arsenal 仍能維持奪冠的能力，就如這季近乎奪冠。

Sagna said: "As a team we can always be better and we be will next year. But
its not always about money. Money is not everything.
Sagna 說：『作為一個球隊，我們可以更好，下賽季也不例外。但未必需要花錢來換得好
表現，畢竟錢不是萬能的。』

"You can buy any one player in the world but, if the opponent wants it more
than you, then you can still lose.
『你可以在世界各地買進任何球員。但若敵隊比你更想要買他，那麼你還是會輸的。』

"Manchester City have spent more than us, but today we are third and they are
fifth. It's about hunger and desire and how much you want it. We all still
want it.
『Man City 花了比我們還多的錢在轉會事上，但現在我們是第三名，而他們才第五名。
那是關乎你對奪冠的渴望，而我們全隊都極力要拿第一名。』

"As a player of course it hurts to hear the criticism because when you are
close to winning something and you don't it's a real disappointment.
『作為一個球員，聽到批評確實是令人心痛。當你是如此靠近奪冠時卻失利了，那實在是
非常難過。』

"But we have to keep playing. We have one more game to show everyone that we
are committed and focused.

"Slowly but surely we are learning how to win ugly. We know there have been
many games this season where we have led, yet conceded easy goals.

"But we will learn from that and we continue to trust in the manager.
『我們會從中汲取教訓，並持續相信 教授。』

"I can understand how the fans feel because as a fan you always win to win
something. Everyone understands them. But I can only tell them that we are
very close."
『我能理解槍迷的感受，因為球迷總是希望贏了又贏。這是眾所皆知的。但我能說的是，
我們幾乎就要達到冠軍了。』

Shock defeats to Blackburn and Wigan in recent weeks have led to suggestions
that third place could be in danger.
近來連續被逆轉，先後敗給 Wigan 和 Blackburn 而使得 Arsenal 的第三名位置岌岌可
危。  

But ask whether Spurs will finish above Arsenal and Sagna pulls a face that
leaves you in no doubt about his answer.
當被問及 Spurs 可能超越 Arsenal 並拿第三時，Sagna 有自信地答覆。

He added: "We are not worried about Spurs. Yes, they have done very well this
season but Sunday's game is in front of our own supporters and if we win, we
will finish third. End of story."
他說：『我們不擔心 Spurs。的確，他們這季踢得不錯，但別忘了我們這週匯是主場，有
我們的支持者。只要我們贏了，就是第三名。就這樣。』

Arsenal game on Sunday is against Fulham, while Manchester United will be
hoping Chelsea slip up to hand them the title.
Arsenal 於週日在主場迎戰 Fulham，而 Man Utd 期許 Chelsea 吃敗仗而將冠軍拱手讓
人。

Whoever wins, Sagna will not be watching once the party gets started.
無論誰贏，Sagna 都不會去在乎誰先奪冠。

He added: "I may watch the highlights - until the final whistle. But whoever
gets the title, I don't want to see that. I don't want to see them
celebrating. It will hurt me too much."
他說：『我或許會看精華片段，直到哨聲響起吧。但無論誰奪冠，我都不想看。我不想看

The France international was speaking as he promoted an exhibition in aid of
UNICEF this coming Sunday to celebrate the impact of African players in the
Premier League.

Fulham's Europa League hero Dickson Etuhu, Chelsea's Salomon Kalou and
Manchester City's former Arsenal star Patrick Vieira are among the players

Sagna believes the World Cup will prove a huge catalyst in addressing the
issues of poverty and famine in Africa.

The Senegal-born Arsenal star said: “It’s a massive honour to have the cup
in Africa and everyone will be aware of what’s happening there and hopefully
the world will be able to deal with these problems.”
