Arsenal forward Robin van Persie has won the Premier League Player of the
Month award for October.
The Gunners striker scored five goals and set up another two in a fantastic
spell for Arsene Wenger's side - which saw them go unbeaten throughout the
month.

The Dutch international found the net twice in Arsenal's 3-0 victory over
local rivals Tottenham at the end of October, having already scored against

This is the second time the 26-year-old has been named as the top flight's
