Robin van Persie refused to shake hands with Emmanuel Adebayor on the
Manchester City star’s return to Arsenal.

Adebayor was banned and fined ￡25,000 for stamping on his former Gunners
team-mate’s head in the reverse fixture in September.

“I’ve not spoken to him,” said van Persie, who picked up a booking for a
foul on Adebayor, who came on as a second-half sub.

“I don’t care about him because I’m just busy with my own team.”

Adebayor was booed mercilessly by the home crowd, and van Persie could not
disguise his hostile feelings towards the Togo international.

But he denied he was seeking revenge with the lunge which brought the yellow
card.

“There was nothing in it,” he said. “In football you make tackles. That
was one of them.”

After completing a full 90 minutes for the first time since rupturing ankle
ligaments in November, van Persie added: “I’m so pleased to be back. The
plan was to play for 60 or 70 minutes but everything felt good so I played on.
”
自去年十一月腳踝韌帶斷裂後，這是 van Persie 第一次完整踢滿 90 分鐘。他說：『
我很高興能回來踢球。本來是計畫讓我踢 60 ~ 70 分鐘，但身體狀況不錯所以就踢完。

Arsenal 本季非常有可能第三名了。
因為只剩下兩場，追不上第二名，因為相差七分；
但 Tottenham 或 Man City 有機會超過我們，前提是
(因為他們兩個還會碰面XD)
1. Tottenham 連三勝 & 我廠 連二敗
2. Tottenham 二勝一平 且淨勝球要至少要超過 +13 (目前：我廠+39 熱刺+26)
1. Man City 連三勝 & 我廠 連二敗 & 淨勝球 +12 (目前：曼城 +27)
看來英超老四競爭是最令人矚目的了！
