Abou Diaby is ready to fill Alex Song's boots in Arsenal's central midfield
while the Cameroon star is away at the African Nations Cup.
Abou Diaby 準備好替代 Arsenal中場 爽哥 的缺席，因為這位 喀麥隆籍球星要遠赴非洲

The Frenchman came off the bench at Upton Park to inspire the Gunners through
to the fourth round of the FA Cup.

And now the 23-year-old has claimed he can play in Song's defensive holding
role, starting with the visit of Bolton to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.

"I will talk about that with the manager and if he wants me to play in that
position, I am happy to do it," said Diaby.

"We will see what happens. Alex is a very important player in our team.
Because he is going, we have to replace him and make sure we do the same job
without him."

Manager Arsene Wenger said Andrei Arshavin will be available tomorrow after
suffering a foot injury but Theo Walcott will still be missing with a rib
injury.

休養。
"I don't know how long Walcott will be out for because he has a rib injury
and they are always difficult to predict," added Wenger.

"Last time he had it on the right and this time it is on the left. Last time
he was out for nearly a month. We hope that this time it will be much
shorter."

Tomas Rosicky has signed a contract extension to keep him at the Emirates
Stadium until 2012 despite a poor injury record.

The 29-year-old Czech, who was out of contract this summer after joining from
Borussia Dortmund in 2006, said:
"The last two seasons haven't been easy for me because of injuries but I feel
it speaks volumes about the club's belief in me for this to be signed, and I
truly believe I have a lot left to offer the club, my team-mates and all the
supporters."
這位二十九歲捷克球星，自2006年從 Borussia Dortmund 轉會過來以後今年夏天就合約
到期，說：
『這兩年的球季因著自己的傷病而過得艱苦，但我感覺得到，它充分說明了球會如此看重
我且繼續簽約。我知道，我必須回報我的球會、我的隊友、以及支持者。』
