Wenger, refused to rule out a move for Arshavin last week but remained coy
when asked about whether the 27-year-old was close to signing for the Gunners
today.

教授在談到是否接近簽下Arshavin時依舊含糊其詞.

''We do not want to talk too much about who we want to buy,'' Wenger told
Arsenal TV online. ''At the moment I cannot give you any good news but in
this job no news is good news. Nothing has fallen through. We are on alert in
the transfer market.''

He also hinted that he was also in the market for a defensive midfielder to

"That is also a priority," he said. "We are not in the big league. We are
a little short because we wanted a player like (Tomas) Rosicky to play 80% of
games and he has not played at all.

"We want to spend money but as everyone knows, and as the the chairman has
said, we have money available but we have limited resources, and you want to

The Frenchman also quashed rumours that Kolo Toure, who recently retracted a
transfer request, could leave the Emirates and was adamant that nobody will
leave the club this month.

''That (Toure story) is finished. We will not sell any players this month.''

阿森納冬歇期引援目標已經十分明確，溫格對於「新沙皇」阿爾沙文的興趣頗大，但兩家
俱樂部在轉會費的問題上仍舊存在分歧，不過《天空體育》透露，這筆轉會談判的進展還
算順利。此外，溫格還明確表示，由於法佈雷加斯的重傷，球隊的引援重點會傾向於後腰
。

阿爾沙文在歐洲杯中展現出了自己的實力，無論是扯到邊路還是隱藏在前鋒身後，俄羅斯
人都體現出了強大的殺傷力。有消息稱，阿森納與澤尼特的談判已經接近完成，轉會費接
近2000萬英鎊。

在轉會方面一向精打細算的溫格今冬仍然秉持了一貫的風格，在此前的採訪中他就一再強
調，要將錢花在刀刃上，只有世界級的球星才能提升球隊的檔次，並進一步幫助年輕人成
長。這回溫格在接受阿森納在線電視台採訪時將冬歇期引援的思路概括為：「沒消息便是
最好的消息」。

溫格表示：「我們不想談具體的引援人選，現在我不能給你任何引援的消息，但沒消息便
是最好的消息。沒有轉會泡湯，只是我們在轉會方面比較謹慎。」

法國教頭隨後具體分析了本隊的轉會形式，由於球隊在後腰位置上失去了小法，球隊在引
援方面也有側重，「這（後腰）也是我們優先考慮的，現在我們並不在前四，我們希望能
得到羅西基這樣的球員，可他這個賽季根本沒打。我們願意投注資金，但就像主席先生說
的那樣，我們的資金有限，所以要盡可能合理的來支配它。」

最後溫格還澄清了圍繞在後防大將圖雷身上的轉會傳聞，這位後防多面手近來一直被曼城
邀請，而此前《太陽報》也指出，休斯希望用1000萬英鎊將其簽下，不過由於阿森納主力
中衛組合加拉和希爾維斯特的傷病，和下半賽季的不可預知性，溫格冬歇期不會考慮出讓
圖雷，他也進一步強調，冬歇期不會有任何人離開阿森納，「圖雷的轉會傳聞就此打住，
我們在冬歇期不會轉讓任何球員。」

The Gunners continue to be strongly linked with a move for Russian playmaker
Andrei Arshavin, with Zenit St Petersburg claiming they have already opened
negotiations over the player.

Wenger is keeping his cards close to his chest in regards to that potential
deal, but has revealed that he remains optimistic of completing some business
during the January transfer window.

"Nothing is missing, but you always want to add some quality to what you
 already have," said the Frenchman.

Wenger maintains that he has no intention of selling any of his players in
the coming weeks, despite speculation linking the likes of Kolo Toure with
the Emirates Stadium exit, while he also remains guarded when it comes to the
identity of possible new recruits.

"The situation from Arsenal's perspective is to keep everything quiet and
 secret and not to talk too much," said Wenger.

financial situation of the English clubs you will understand very quickly why
most of them are quiet."
