北京時間1月22日凌晨，據參加非洲杯的多哥隊教練介紹說，該隊核心前鋒
阿德巴約竟然拒絕在非洲杯的首場比賽中上場為國效力。
阿德巴約最近剛剛完成從法甲摩納哥隊到英超豪門阿森納的轉會，在非洲杯
多哥首場0-2不敵剛果的比賽中，他坐在了板凳上，最初的解釋是這位高大中鋒
身患胃病，但是在賽後多哥隊的教練史蒂芬-凱希卻說，阿德巴約是自己不想上
場，並沒有生病。「今天早上我告訴阿德巴約說，由於很長時間沒有比賽了，而
且上周在忙於轉會手續，身體比較疲勞，所以暫時這場不安排你上場了，但是賽
前我改變主意，告訴他我把他排入了出場陣容，這時候他說他不想上場。」這名
教練後來解釋說。多哥隊從世界盃非洲區出現，闖入了世界盃決賽階段，按一般
看法實力應該強過剛果，這場失敗的原因有可能隊員是受到阿德巴約不能上場的

非洲國家杯多哥隊首戰意外告負 小組出線前景堪憂

新華網開羅1月21日電(記者明金維李良勇)在21日進行的非洲國家杯足球賽B
組的一場比賽中，剛剛在去年獲得2006年德國世界盃參賽資格的多哥隊0：2不敵
民主剛果隊，小組出線前景堪憂。
民主剛果隊在隊長魯阿魯阿的率領下，一開場便對多哥隊施加了強大的壓力
。在浪費了多次進球良機之後，姆普圖在上半場比賽結束前挑射入網，為民主剛
果隊先下一城。
下半場比賽開始後，民主剛果隊仍然在場面上佔據優勢。多哥隊剛剛與英超
勁旅阿森納簽約的阿德巴尤並沒有首發出場，中場休息時有消息說他在賽前突然
感到胃裡不舒服。他在下半場替補出場後，多哥隊的進攻也沒有太大的起色。
第64分鐘，魯阿魯阿強力攻門再次成功，幫助剛果2：0領先。這一比分保持
到比賽結束。
在B組當天早些時候進行的另外一場比賽中，喀麥隆隊依靠球星埃托奧的「帽
子戲法」，3：1戰勝安哥拉隊。目前，在B組4支隊伍中，喀麥隆和民主剛果同積3
分，名列小組前兩位，其後為多哥和安哥拉。

Adebayor future with Togo unclear
Emmanuel Adebayor trained with the Togo squad on Sunday, a day after
vowing to quit the African Cup of Nations.
The Arsenal striker has fallen out with coach Stephen Keshi and it is
unclear whether he will stay on with the squad.
Keshi slammed his striker's behaviour, claiming he would not treat
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger in the same way.
"He wouldn't do it with Wenger, maybe it is because I'm a black coach. If
I was white, maybe he would have more respect for me," said Keshi.
Adebayor vowed to quit the tournament after being left out of the team
for their opening game on Saturday.
But his decision to train with the rest of Keshi's squad appears to
suggest he may be willing to stay.
Togo were beaten 2-0 by DR Congo in their Group B tie, with Adebayor making
a belated appearance as a substitute.
Adebayor, 21, was named in Togo's original starting line-up, but when his
name was removed from the list it was claimed he had a stomach upset.
After the match, Keshi had to be physically restrained from confronting the
player on the team bus.
Adebayor joined Arsenal from Monaco after he fell out with the French club.

Last night, he surprisingly pulled out of Togo's first match of the
African Cup of Nations at the last minute. Named in the starting line-up,
he was nowhere to be seen at kick-off. Togo coach Stephen Keshi explains:
"This morning I said to Adebayor that he wouldn't play because he hadn't
played in a long time and because he had spent the last week sorting out
his contract with Arsenal," said Keshi.
"Just before the game, I told him I was putting him in the team and then
he said he didn't want to play".
Adebayor explains: "We lost yesterday and I do not know why I did not
start. I was shocked - the main goalscorer of the team [being left out] -
that is a joke."
And not, in Adebayor's mind, a very funny joke:
"The African Cup of Nations is finished for me. I am leaving the team. I
will call Wenger and, if he is happy for me to go to Arsenal, I will go
and start my career."
Well, that might be nice, considering how crap we were yesterday. But now
reports suggest he's training with the Togo squad again?! We shouldn't be
surprised that Ade is completely insane. The only reason we were ever able
to sign him was because he had a massive falling out with his previous club,
Monaco. Then there's this quote:
"If I have to kill someone to reach Germany next year, I will."
I know we wanted more agression, but come on...
