Lehmann offered Arsenal deal

 Arsenal have offered experienced Germany keeper Jens Lehmann a contract
extension at the Emirates.

The former Borussia Dortmund and Schalke ace is available on a free transfer
in the summer after nearly three seasons in the Premiership.

The Gunners are keen for Lehmann to stay and have handed him an extension,
although Wenger knows there is interest elsewhere from his services.

Hertha Berlin are reportedly keen to bring the 37-year-old back to the
Bundesliga, but the French tactician knows the keeper will stay focused.

"He has an offer from us," Wenger told Sky Sports News. "We hope to sort that
out soon.

"I've heard there are a lot of rumours, but you cannot stop rumours.

"Jens is at the end of his contract so he can talk to who he wants.

"I know that Jens is 100 per cent focused to win at Everton."

According to Bild, Hertha Berlin are keen to land Lehmann to replace
Christian Fielder, who is out of contract in the summer.

Hertha also hope to sign youngster Thorsten Kirschbaum from third division
outfit Hoffenheim and have him work under Lehmann.
