http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?HLID=376550 Schumacher backing Lehmann By Adam Marshall - Created on 3 Apr 2006 Former Germany international keeper Harald Schumacher believes Jens Lehmann will be in goal for the home nation at this summer's World Cup finals. Schumacher was involved in an infamous incident when he clattered into France's Patrick Battiston during the 1982 finals, but he escaped punishment for the misdemeanour. Speaking to Sport1, he has offered his verdict on the great duel between the Arsenal number one and Oliver Kahn for the keeper's jersey. Lehmann and Bayern Munich stalwart Kahn are competitors in every sense of the word for the nod from Jurgen Klinsmann, and Schumacher feels the in-form Gunners star has moved into pole position. "For sure, I see no reason why Oliver Kahn should not be the number one at the World Cup," said the ex-Cologne shot-stopper. "However, I believe Jens Lehmann will play. "He was so calm and relaxed after the Champions League game against Juventus. "I felt that he already knows he will be the number one. "If Kahn thought he was certain of being the number one, he surely would not have played against Cologne carrying an injury." 萊曼對槍手後防的確很重要。 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 80.229.140.103
